we got spotless room here, location in the center of san sebastian. we liked having a mini bar, central heating and multi-channel tv. the window was facing city.

Great location, short walk to old town and beach. Helpful host provided coffee, tea, and local cheese. Clean budget accommodation with personal touches. Balcony with table and chairs. Good lighting, lift to third floor.

the owner, Mertxe, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a mini bottle of Cava and stocked our mini-fridge with beverages. the rooms were equipped with everything you'd find in a hotel, and Mertxe provided plenty of free toiletries. the location was fantastic, within walking distance of the bus station and all the attractions in San Sebastián. the shared bathroom was always kept clean, and we never ran into any other guests. We highly recommend a stay here!

celebrated my birthday in san sebastian and la casa de maria exceeded expectations. incredible attention to detail, from the welcoming cava to the freshly squeezed orange juice each morning. common snack area always stocked. clean and comfortable bathroom. peaceful balcony. short walk to park, beach, and old town without the noise. thank you, maria!

Our stay at this place was absolutely mind-blowing! The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a jaw-dropping welcome drink and a fridge full of complimentary beverages. The attention to detail was incredible, with free packaged toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes provided. The location was super convenient, with easy access to the beach and old town. The common snack area was a pleasant surprise, stocked with delicious treats. The shared bathroom was always clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. The added convenience of a lift, laundry facilities, and wheelchair access was a major plus. our stay here was absolutely amazing and we would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

I loved that my room had a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing and catching up on my favorite shows after a day of exploring. The shared bathroom was impeccably clean and featured complimentary toiletries, making me feel like I was in a luxury hotel. The fact that my room had a refrigerator was such a convenient bonus, allowing me to store drinks and snacks for my day trips.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathrobes provided in the shared bathroom. I'd prefer using my own clothes for comfort.

My partner and I had an exceptional stay at La Casa De Maria. From the moment we arrived, Maria went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. She greeted us warmly and even surprised us with a bottle of champagne. The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed, including bathrobes and a stocked fridge. We enjoyed breakfast on the charming terrace and Maria's recommendations for tapas were spot on. Despite the noise from the street at night, we would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend La Casa De Maria for a fantastic stay in San Sebastian.

Additionally, the room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including robes and slippers, which added a touch of luxury to our stay.

One drawback was the noise from the nearby road, especially during the busy Christmas season. It was a bit difficult to sleep with the windows open.
